Our Mission Statement

St. Philip Neri School is a traditional parish elementary school supported by the families whose children are enrolled in the school and by the parish families at large.

The parish school was founded in 1951 under the pastoral guidance of Father Leo J. Letterhouse. St. Philip Neri enhances its Catholicity by accepting the mission of the Church to share the message of hope proclaimed by Jesus, to foster a faith - community, and to witness the meaning of Christian service.

Our parish school seeks to support families in their efforts to educate their children in our faith, to encourage their children to be and do their best according to the talents God has given them and to form healthy individuals who will become active parishioners and contributing members of society.

St. Philip Neri School, as part of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, admits students of any race, religion, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at St. Philip Neri School.

Our parish school's mission and goals reflect those stated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia: "As Archdiocese teachers we strive to fulfill the Lord's words. We are entrusted to proclaim and teach the Faith. Our mission is to know, love, and serve God in our families, our parish, and in the world community."
